after it was begun, the tunnel has finally been completed. an extraordinary optical device called a 'telectroscope'
has been installed, which allows people in new york to see people in london - and vice versa.'

'telectroscope' is an artwork by created by london artist paul st. george with artichoke that is currently installed
beside the tower bridge in london and at the the fulton ferry landing by the brooklyn bridge in new york.
